Frighten Me Not!!

Whenever we describe courage, we see it as something we do whenever someone is in a need of help. Other people see it as something we do to overcome our greatest fears. I see it as something each and every person does a lot in their life to make themselves better. No matter if it is from making new friends on the first day of school, or even taking that first step in a relationship and saying “yes” to a date. Courage could be anything from helping a kid you don’t know, jumping off a bluff into the water or applying to a college. It’s something that defines each and every person as who they are and what they could become in the future, they just have to be courageous and choose the right decisions throughout their life. If I would have chosen to say in bed all day that would have been fine with me, but I found the courage to drag myself out of bed to come to school. Since after all I only have forty-one days left of school before I graduate. It takes a lot of courage to go through what I had to growing up, most of those decisions that got made for me or that I made make me who I am today. It makes me happy to see the person I have become through this far in my life; I can only imagine how it’s going to be five years from now.

  1. I totally agree with you, Natasha! I think each person has their own type of courage and something that may be courageous for one person could just come very easily to another. I think the amount of courage we have really can determine where we go in life. People who are willing to take risks may get more opportunities than those who are afraid to try new things. I think you are very right that courage does not have to be something big, little acts can show a lot of courage in a person. I loved your post!

  2. I confirm that your term of courage is correct. From our own personal view, its just something we do every day either out of our heart or because we have to. I especially like your example of having the courage to get out of bed and go to school. I personally fear taking the finals for missing too many days so since it is my last semester in high school, I will go to school and take all the courage I can to finish the day. Good post and good explanation :]
