Senior Final
The advice I would give the oncoming students of Creative
Writing class 2013-2014 would be to always get your work done on time because
you never know when you will have a huge assignment to go with it or that could
come after it. It’s always better to get it done right the first time so that
way you don’t have to go back through and edit it. There are so many things
that you could give advice on for creative writing class, like for example:
make your writing unique, your own. Once you write something look it over make
sure it is something you want to post and have the world see, opposed to
something you would be very embarrassed about later. When typing something on
blogger always, always, ALWAYS use word document first, it helps format your
page and helps with your use of grammar because you could always be graded on
those things. So always use word first for that just in case moment. Sometimes when
you find it hard to write, start off with what you’re thinking then before you
know it, it will turn into something fantastic. There are so many blog posts to
choose from but I would have to say if I chose one blog to choose as my
favorite I would have to choose this one because we get to write our own opinion
down and our advice to all the underclass men coming into this class. In retrospect
I will have to wish you guys luck because there are so many assignments that
are easy and some that are more difficult. This assignment has been the best by
far, when you get to give advice to people for me that is something very special
because it helps me help other people when I get to give my great advice away. There
are so many things that I have learned from this class, it’s actually hard to
pick just one. We did so many assignments to where we learned about things from
within ourselves and there were some where we had to learn about the other
students in our class. The most valuable thing I have learned from this class
is that I am an amazing writer when I am under pressure, which is one trait I thought
I never had. When it comes to my writing I try to be out there with it, opposed
to giving you the typical answers you could get out of a book. If you expect to
find answers like that, don’t come looking my way. J what answers you find here
just might surprise you.

Epilogue
There is a lot that I have learned about myself from this
semester. Some of those things include how good of a writer and blogger I have
become due to the assignments we do daily, which I always find them intriguing
every day especially when we find something new about them. There are a lot of
things in my life I wish to improve on, some of those have to deal with how I think,
because I usually over think things but when it comes to doing these
assignments they help me to where I think more clearly and can get things
figured out, no matter what it is over. This assignment has helped me with my
own writing by being more creative and more in depth about the things I think
about as I word them on paper. It has helped me to discover myself by improving
the things I do, because some of these assignments required me to dig deep into
myself and think about things I never thought would be brought to the surface
again. I hope in time to improve my writing over time and keep the blogging
going strong with things that I do.
Three words to describe myself are Passion, Creativeness, and
Love.
Passion- you have to have a passion within yourself to
be able to write beautiful stories, blogs, or even essays. To me that is what
my passion is for this class and sometimes in others because it helps keep me
motivated to do the things that need to be done.
Creativeness- you have to have a very creative mind to keep
up with the creative writing assignments and if you don’t then as you take the
class it will help develop your mind. When I first started this class I had a
creative mind then as the assignments kept coming I became more creative with
every assignment. Now I am to the last assignment and I feel as though it’s one
of my best works.
Love- you have to have a lot of love in something to
be able to do the things that are possible because if you do not have that love
or have not required it then sometimes it’s a lot harder to get stuff done. For
example I love to write about anything, so when I took this class my love for
writing helped motivate me to do better with all of my writing. Everything I’ve
done in the class has helped me become a better writing and I have to say thank
you for the assignments we got over this past month or so for they played a big
part is helping me become a better writer.

Gone but Never Forgotten - April 19
In twenty years from now there are many
things I want to remember but specifically there are twenty of them:
1. Sometimes it’s best to remember to just slow
down and smell the roses because they might not ever be there again.
2. To remember the good things that has happened
to me to shape me into the person that I am today.
3. That sometimes it’s always best to slow down
and listen to what people are actually saying and not what they are asking.
4. To remember the advice my grandpa and my
grandma have gave me over the past few years.
5. The good times that I have had with all my
friends, no matter if the friends are new or very close to me.
6. The good times that I have had in art class,
because within those moments I always had a good laugh and smile.
7. To take my free time to spend it with my loved
ones and not keep cooped up in my room all the time.
8. To remember to relax and enjoy the little
things in life opposed to freaking out over the bigger picture it’s brought
into my view.
9. To remember how much fun I had at prom.
10. To remember to drive safely because you never
know when a cop will be nearby.
11. All the memories I made during my school years
with my friends.
12. To possibly think before I speak.
13. Not everyone can be trusted, so don’t pour
everything you got into it.
14. To remember not to spread myself so thin over
so many tasks.
15. To remember all my friends I have made and
lost over the past few years.
16. All
the laughs I’ve shared no matter it are with teachers, peers, or even my
friends.
17. To look back on the times I’ve had here at
school.
18. To remember the cool scholarships I’ve applied
for.

Never Say Good-Bye
This is the hardest thing ive ever done. . .
I would have to honestly say the hardest goodbye I have ever had to say, was for my mother when she passed away. That was the hardest goodbye for me because when my mother passed away I was tore up at the thought of it, I didn’t even want to say goodbye I couldn’t even look at her very much. It was a hardest moment in my life. It was truly hard to actually look at her and say goodbye because I never thought for as young as I was I didn’t think I could actually look at her and say goodbye. It hurt me so bad, tore my heart in half, even till this day I am tore up about it. I wish I could go back in time and possibly try to change the outcome of what happened that night. Whenever I said goodbye to her I was strong or so I thought anyway. Even though when I looked at her lifeless body it just made me want to burst into tears and run away. I thought I could be strong when I came into the room she was in, trying to take in the things going on around me. For there was silence a lot of it, even my breathing calmed to a minimum. Looking around I finally caught my breath realizing I hadn’t breathed a breath in a couple minutes. When I finally found my strength I looked up at her and said “Mom I am going to miss you, I’m sorry I wasn’t always the best daughter, I wish you could come back to me so I can make it up to you I don’t want to say goodbye to you because no other mother could replace you. I love you mom and I will always miss you. See you soon.” I started to choke on my words as I had spoken them while I had a few tears go down my cheek, I knew things would get better with time, but only time could tell. My reasons for saying this sad goodbye was because the only mother I have ever had passed away, it’s still hard at times to come to the harsh reality of the fact that “she is gone and never coming back.” It’s just hard to deal with sometimes. Even though this happened three years ago, it’s hard to move past such an abrupt goodbye like that, but I am mostly moved on from it. Sometimes it hard to look at pictures because all I can see is her laughing with me, talking to m and then telling me to get my dad not five minutes before she passed away. It’s a hard thing to deal with anymore, but so far I have made it through everything. There will always be times when I wish I could go back and change how I said the goodbye to her, to somehow make it better, make it to where she hears it. I believe though on that day she heard me loud and clear.

“Strange as it may seem, I still hope for the
best, even though the best, like an interesting piece of mail, so rarely

10.
“This
life is what you make it. No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes,
it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you're going
to mess it up. Girls will be your friends - they'll act like it anyway. But
just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through
everything - they're your true best friends. Don't let go of them. Also
remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well,
they'll come and go too. And baby, I hate to say it, most of them - actually
pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can't give up
because if you give up, you'll never find your soul mate. You'll never find
that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you
fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on,
and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who
will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly,
keep smiling, because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile
about.” ― Marilyn Monroe

Synetics
1. Which
is smarter? A clock or a calendar?
a.
A clock is smarter because it can tell you the
time of the day passing by. It helps you keep on time to your appointments each
and every day. So there is no need to plan ahead when it’s easier to take it
one day at a time.
2. Which
is easier to teach? A question or an answer?
a.
An answer is easier to teach because there are
only so many answers to one question and if you do not know the different sides
to those questions how can you, yourself find an answer.
3. Which
is like a contest? A cloud or a sunset?
a.
A sunset is more like a contest because it sets
at different times each evening. It always seems to get more beautiful each
time you watch it. Were as a cloud is just a white fluff-ball, a sunset is an arrangement
of colors from pinks, to yellows, to reds, even sometimes purple.
4. Which
is more fearful? New or old?
a.
Old is something to be more fearful over because
when something is old to you there is those long lasting memories that you have
kept a secret for many years and how you need to figure out how to keep those
old secrets hidden deep within the old object, memory, outfit hidden.
5. Which
is more difficult? A dream or a nightmare?
a.
A dream is more difficult because if it is a
good one you will want to keep it going even after you wake up. You will try to
go back to sleep and bring that dream back, but in the end we find it most
difficult because the dream was just a dream and can probably never become a
reality. Were as a nightmare can become reality with only a blink of an eye.
6. Which
is braver? An hour or a year?
a.
A year is braver than an hour because you can do
many things within a year that you can’t seem to do within an hour. You can
travel the world on a year; you can also take a vacation. Were as in an hour
you cannot do very much for anything.
7. Which
is easier to close? A road or a map?
a.
A map is easier to close because sometimes it’s
easier to go with the flow opposed to blocking off one of the many pathways
through life. No matter where the road may lead it’s always easier to close a
map and just go were your mind and body takes you.
8. Which
is more suspenseful? Rain or snow?
a.
Rain is more suspenseful because there is so
much you can do and have fun with it while there is a thunder storm opposed to
a snow storm. While it’s raining you can do so many things such as read a good
book and let the cool rainy air float in through your bedroom window, while you
listen to calm music and just chill.
9. Which
has less charm? A signature or an autograph?
a.
A signature has less charm because no one really
cares for a signature anymore, most people would rather have an autograph that they
could cherish and hold dear to them for the rest of their lives. Whereas a
signature might be one of a kind, and easier to get, it’s a lot less cherished
when it comes to having to sign everything with your signature. After your
first signature on something it becomes pointless.
10. Which
is happier? Music or art?
a.
Art is happier because you can express yourself
more freely, no matter it be on paper or a canvas. Sometimes it’s better to
express yourself freely on paper than with an instrument or vocal talents. When
you express yourself through art other people get to see it and see what your
feeling or going through. You also get to make beautiful artwork in the
process.
